Elly barfed this morning. As usual, she crawled up onto her father to do it.
There are several factors that may have contributed to the up-chuck. First is the flu shot she got on Monday, but that seems like a long time ago to have an effect now. Then second is she goes to play school. She’s surrounded by several other jam-handed, oozing disease bags twice a week. She might have picked up something there, but, again, unlikely as there has been no sign of rampant illness there either. So that leaves last night’s dinner.
She ate pickles. Almost nothing but dill pickle spears.
Ding Ding Ding! I think we have a winner. (I hope.) I’ll update later to let you know if she’s feeling better and explain why she only ate brined cukes.

UPDATE:
We had breakfast, and she ate some homemade waffles. Those happily stayed right there in her gullet. We ran a ton of errands and she seems to be just fine still. I think the chunder has passed.
I really don’t know why she ate only pickles last night. She was offered chicken, fish and a variety of other thinks. She rejected all but pickles. I thought at the time, “what harm can it be? It’s the only green veggie that she cares to eat most days. Can pickles be so wrong?” Turns out that it can.
So now we are off to eat Persian food tonight! What could go wrong…?
