Ahh… My kitchen is clean, and I am feeling my sip of Pinot Evil. I bought two bottles of the Pinot to make the Coq au Vin – ala Alton Brown + my own variants. It’s in the oven now, and my kitchen is clean-ish, and the dishes are even washing. The babies are confined to beds, if not totally asleep. So heat and time are all that remain to this recipe.
I didn’t use both bottles as they just wouldn’t fit in my Dutch oven. But, I opened both…
It’s a shame the wine only comes in these single serving packages….
