I didn’t take many pictures of the family in Chattanooga. It seems like my hands were WAY full all of the time. Strollers. Whatnot.
Eleanor really likes the Creative Discovery Museum. At about $9 for adults and the 2-and-under crowd free, the price is a real bargain. They have a special exhibit called MONEYVILLE, where there was a pile of a Million one-dollar bills (it was bigger thank I thought) and a station where you could put your own face on money. I enjoyed it, but it was way over Elly’s understanding. What she knows about money is that coins go in piggy banks. Nevertheless, we had a good time, and Saralyn like riding in the backpack. She can even nap there.
Here are pictures from Rock City. The weather got perfect for just the right amount of time for us, however the view from lover’s leap was just a bit foggy, so I didn’t get to see all 5 or so states at once, a promise that is made on oh so many billboards. Whatever. It’s never about the views for me. I don’t much care for great heights. I like flowers and rock formations better anyway. OK – Pictures:
The view from the top.
The girls and I take a photo op.
A rocky crevice.
Pretty flowers….
It’s a kitschy kind of place but I really liked. So, go See Rock City!
