I don’t usually blog about current events, but I am way confused about this whole Caylee Anthony mystery. I’ve read this article and seen bits and parts on the news, but I just don’t think this can be true.
The police say that the GRANDPARENTS really are cooperative. THEY really seem to want their granddaughter back. The Mother, according to the newspapers, is telling one story after the other.
They say she is a habitual liar. But I see the pictures of her beautiful smiling face and wonder what is going on in that mother’s head. It’s got to be something seriously wrong for this woman to react so far from the norm.
Here’s what I mean: IF I didn’t know where my child is, I would freak. I’d call my husband and family first to see if they had her, and then I would call the police, then I would look in every corner, basement, storm drain, parked car, and doghouse in the world till I found her. I wouldn’t go work, or plan a mini-vacation. I’d be out begging help from every cop, media outlet, mob, girl scout, and town crier I could rustle up.
Here’s what I think: She knows where her daughter is, and for some reason, she can’t tell. Perhaps she killed her, perhaps someone else did and she knows and she is scared for herself, perhaps she sold the child because she wanted to be free of her, perhaps she’s a sociopath and gave the child away like so much of last year’s wardrobe. Perhaps someone did take the child, and made sure the mother knew that Caylee would be killed if she called the police. This is really a fantastic mess.
Where is this child? How did the child go missing for so long? Children shouldn’t be able to disappear from one world or appear in another without fanfare and commotion. It take many to raise a child and many to watch out for them. Where is this child?
