I may not be a bayou baby, but I do like a good po’boy. Oyster is my favorite. I really like what I believe to be the traditional offering: crusty french bread, crispy and hot fried oysters, shreds of lettuce and remoulade sauce. That’s the classic, right?
So why was mylunchtime po’boy covered in a double dusting of ketchup? I so sent it back.
Frenchie faux pas? or what? When my remoulade covered sandwich came back, I ate it so fast I think I swallowed a fork. No kiding. I can eat me some po’boy…
I have no idea why it was covered in ketchup. Ewwww!
And where did you find a restaurant that serves remoulade? You’re either on the coast somewhere or there’s a Cajun rest. somewhere near by?
I had a shrimp poboy (we don’t use the little marking any more!!!!!) today, and eeeet was some good, cher!
