WE’VE HAD A LOOKER!
It’s nothing. I’m not getting excited. So, someone came to look at my house today. I mean, we looked at 14 housed before we bought this one. People do that, right?
Perhaps I’m excited about nothing, and perhaps I shouldn’t have sent the flowers and that bottle of wine to the lookers. Huh?
OK [...]

For a day that had no plan as of yesterday, we managed to have a big day today.
Bambi the girls and I went to the Atlanta History Center this morning and I got a membership there. I’ve had a membership there before, but not for a few years now, and I am looking forward to [...]

I’m planning a party again. I’m thinking New Years, and I’m thinking ZODIAC themes. I want to do a dish for each sign of the zodiac, but it’s not easy. Some signs lend themselves to a dish, but some do not. Here’s your challenge: give me some ideas for what I should serve. Here are [...]

Saralyn has moved to her next mode of crawling. She now crawls on her hands and feet. Once upon a time, she scuttled about on two hands, one foot and a knee. After a bit, she picked up a very normal two knee and two hand approach. Since she’s started cruising, she’s anxious to be [...]

Eleanor peed her pants today.
Her last accident was ages ago, but she’s decided that she hates using the potty at preschool. They don’t help her there with the wiping, and she doesn’t really get herself as clean as one would hope. So, she holds it till she gets home. Today, not so much. She went [...]

My girls. Oh How I Love Them.
But…
They have some quirks that make me laugh till I cry. Saralyn waits to have a clean diaper on to poop. Like by minutes. Eleanor tests me every minute, and can NEVER remember what I tell her not to do 47 times each day. But they do make me [...]

I joined Facebook today. I’m a bit behind the curve here. Not an early adopter, me.
I joined so I could see pictures of my friend Pedja’s beautiful baby girl. Pedja and his family live half a world away. It seems like such a neat way to get your pictures out there, to friends and such, [...]

I’m watching the election returns. My shoulders are getting closer to my ears by the minute. These news people, with their wild flashing lights and invigorating music. When did elections evolve into needing the Madden style squiggle board? What’s with all the Drama! I’m half expecting a car crash! Perhaps someone will jump out and [...]

Happy Birthday to ME!!! I’ve had tons of fun and been on all kinds of new adventures. I got some pretty nice gifts, too (but I didn’t get what I really want – real estate and my own blog. I’m a year old now. Why can’t I have my own blog??? It’s not like Mommy [...]
