I’ve carefully wrapped the keys of this keyboard with micro bubble wrap. I’m sore to the tips of my fingers.
I over did it yesterday.
After church, we signed our papers for the bid on the new house: Asking price – 5K and close in 90 days. That was exciting. Then I whisked away to the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain were my friend Laura and I walked and looked and walked and looked and walked and looked till our eyes glazed over. There are only so many wine bottles melted and squashed in to cheese plates that one can look at. That, and picture matting with the words Go Dawgs cleverly cut therein, seemed to over represented. Way. Over. It was hot, but the festival was mostly under the trees.
Then we treated ourselves to a margarita. Ahh… the rejuvenating power of tequila. I felt so excited that I went home and packed the WHOLE sewing room. Ugg. That too the rest of the night.
My current thoughts are these:
1. We need WAY more boxes.
2. I have WAY more stuff than we need.
3. a 10 by 15 storage unit may not been enough.
4. I’m a doughy, whimpy looser…
5. … who hasn’t dusted her sewing room in years. YEARS!
Off to stretch now. Perhaps that and a few more margaritas will get me going on a search for more boxes… In case you are scoring at home, we should know if our offer on the house is accepted by Tuesday at 4pm, and one room down – 10 to go. Oh, THAT’s overwhelming…
