I just got my first rejection letter! Yea me! As of this very moment, no one wants my book!
Here’s what it said:
Thank you for your recent query letter. I appreciate your patience while I’ve considered your project.
Your premise is intriguing and your writing is smooth and commercial, but I felt there was a lack of line-by-line tension and, to me, it seemed like the pages focused more on back story than the forwarding plot. Unfortunately, I’m afraid I must pass on Chenda and the Airship Brofman.
Thanks again for thinking of me. Please accept my best wishes for your project’s success.
How about that! Yea! a response.
